Since Uniqlo has already reached Manila shores, the novelty and uniqueness of the brand isn't as great as it was last year. Thankfully, Mark introduced me to another Japanese brand that's currently making waves.
G.U. is actually from the same company that brought us Uniqlo. This brand is designed to be the diffusion line (a diffusion line of a diffusion line) of Uniqlo. It offers the same basics, but at a much lower price.
We went to their flagship store in Ginza, and it was impressive indeed. We were able to buy stuff for ourselves, as well as nice pasalubongs for Dad and the boys.
I'm hoping that I get to explore more G.U. stores before I head back to Manila in a few days.
