Not scrimping during sales

Unlike some fast fashion brands who just bring out old stocks during sale season, Plains and Prints is very generous when it comes to sales. This weekend, Araneta Center had its 3-day sale, and I checked out the Plains and Prints stores in Ali Mall and Gateway.

To my surprise, their sale items are from their Summer 2011 collection, which was just launched 2 or 3 months ago. So these are genuinely new stuff, and they were all at 50% off.

Among the lot, these 3 dresses were the ones that caught my eye.



Upon closer scrutiny, it's just the red dress in the middle that was worth buying. It has a good balance of trendy (the nautical pattern on the side) and classic. (A simple shift silhouette.) The other 2 looked ok, but once you look at it for more than 10 minutes, the "sawa factor" kicks in immediately.

I wonder when their next sale will be.
