Give me a Niccol

I've always been intrigued by Andrew Niccol's films. As a kid, I've always been interested about life in the future, and I always imagined it to be pretty much what it is right now, only sleeker and with less color. And after watching some of the films that Andrew directed, I realized that he has the same idea about the future.

The first film I watched was "Gattaca." (Better known as the film where Ethan and Uma fell in love.) His take on the future was the creation of the Aryan race and the perfection of genetics. In his version of the future, everyone is smart, disease-free, and wears spiffy suits. Plus, they go to school and work in a very cool building.

Then there's "S1mone," which is a testament to how technology can create reality. And how it can even replace reality! Poor Al Pacino.

And now, he's got a new film coming up, this time with Justin Timberlake (who seems to be everywhere nowadays) and Amanda Seyfried. The premise of this film is interesting. And again, it looks at the future in a sleek, fashionable and dangerous way.

If this new film is as good as Gattaca and S1mone, I'll definitely find time to watch it.
