Woohoo! I found "Take on Me" on youtube!
The concept, the execution, the song, the build-up - everything was stellar. Looking at it now, you would think it was made just a few years back, instead of two decades ago. Just goes to show how it was way ahead of its time.
I remember how I'd get so engrossed with the video each and every time I'd watch it. And the last scene, where the lead singer was trying to escape his "comic life" had me holding my breath and cheering him on.
