The entire cycle played out like a well-planned soap opera. The awkward girl who had zero self esteem wins top photo after top photo after top photo. She was losing a bit of her steam (a bit, meaning 2 episodes), then finished on top.
Yup, Ann is America's Next Top Model.
Everyone saw it coming. After all, Ann got top photo 6 times, which is a record on ANTM. While she stumbled a bit in terms of runway and commercials, her amazing portfolio catapulted her to be on top.
I knew this is how the cycle would end since it was a totally predictable one. But part of me still wanted Chelsey to pull an upset - just for the sake of pulling an upset and proving that dark horses can win. Although Ann's win will be an inspiration for all the "weirdos" and "quirky girls" out there who feel they can't blend in.
And that's why Ann's win - despite being predictable - is special.
