Last year, it was announced that the social networking arm of Multiply would be discontinued by December 31, 2012. They asked that all files be backed-up since all the existing personal sites of multiply will be deleted. So I did.
January 1, 2013 came, and my multiply page was still there. And it was still there until March 2013. So, I breathed a sigh of relief since I thought that they ditched the plan of deleting the personal sites.
When I checked out my multiply site again this afternoon, it was gone! Deleted. Zilch. Zip. Nada.
It was a nasty sort-of-surprise.
But I'm glad that I was at least able to save my photos from multiply before this happened.
