For the Record

It's not everyday that you become a witness to a Guinness Book of World Records event. That's why I'm glad that I attended this event for Uratex.

They attempted to break the world record for the most people in a human mattress domino.

And they did it! A World Record for the Philippines!

It was such a thrill to witness this event and see the record being broken before our very eyes. Everyone was waiting with baited breath, especially during the turns. The excitement was palpable as people screamed whenever they'd successfully make a turn.

The anticipation was truly worth the wait. 

Congratulations, Uratex! U did it!

Star Studded

Among the many franchises of "Star Trek," my favourite would be "Star Trek The Next Generation."

No wonder that the series "Star Trek:Picard" has always been on my radar. But since we don't have Prime Video, I still haven't seen the series.

But after seeing the trailer for Season 3 of the series, it might be the trigger for that Prime Video subscription!

Last 2011, H&M had a collaboration with Marni. Alas, I wasn't able to get any items from that collection, thus, I had nothing to show for it. (Unlike the Versace, Cavalli, Matthew Williamson, CDG & Lanvin collaborations.)

Now, Marni is back! This time in a collaboration with Uniqlo.

Looking at some of the items on their lookbook, there are a lot of signature Marni prints. There's also a lot of color, and a lot of joie de vivre!

Gotta show up at Uniqlo, stat!

When it comes to beautiful prints on dresses, Plains & Prints never disappoints.

Caught one of the dresses they’re launching for their Holiday 2020 collection called “Vivid Optimism,” and - as per usual - I was gobsmacked at how pretty it was.

The moment this comes out in stores, I’m there!

That’s how optimistic I am with this collection.

And how are they celebrating it? With a special 20th Anniversary collection featuring all the designers they've ever collaborated with!

I'm not familiar with the story or the narrative basis of the film, but judging by the trailer, I'm definitely going to watch out for this.



Aside from the fact that it's Disney, it's also an eye candy! There's a lot of mysticism and magic - which I love! Plus, you can't ignore the powerhouse cast. (Hello Oprah!)

Erdem it!

The print geek in me is doing backflips and somersaults!

The next H&M collaboration is with one of the legendary names in prints!

Unlike the Balmain and Kenzo that came before it, I'm genuinely excited with this collaboration. Not just that. I'm SOOOO on board! Erdem Moralioglu is such a master when it comes to prints. Just like Etro, Suno and Mary Katrantzou, he has a distinct eye for making vibrant prints - particularly florals!

Florals, for fall. Groundbreaking!
