When you're cooking, the tendency is that you don't eat the dish you cooked. That's because during the cooking process, you've tasted the dish over and over. You've tasted the dish so often that you're okay with not making it part of your meal.
That also happens when you make a commercial. You've seen it through the concept stage, to the storyline, to the storyboard, to the director's board, to the shooting, to the editing and to viewing the final on-line material. You've seen the commercial so often that you're okay with not seeing it again.
Despite that, there are commercials whose concept you love so much that you don't mind seeing it over and over and over again. I have a couple of commercials like that, and one of my latest work falls under that category.
It's a commercial I did for Uratex, which is one of my favorite clients.
This commercial is literally a snooze. But it's a snooze that I don't mind experiencing again and again and again.
