My Mom is the family's original fashion icon. As a child, I remember how Mom was always immaculately and stylishly dressed. Whether she was wearing a flowy, backless dress, a power suit, a gown with a thigh-high slit or her classic flared jeans and spaghetti-strapped top combo, she always looked modelesque and flawless.
Looking at her photos, it was easy to see that she always embraced fashion. I remember this particular photo when she was a teacher in Bicol. She really rocked the coif and huge sunglass combo.
As she celebrates her 70th birthday today, she's as stylish as ever. Always put together, always chic, always classy, and always dressed appropriately for the occasion.
