Roaring

There's this often asked question: "If you could have been born in another decade, what decade would that be?"

My answer to that question would be: "The 1920s. Definitely."

Art Deco. Jazz. Cloche hats. Charlie Chaplin. Buster Keaton. Laurel and Hardy. Mary Pickford. Louise Brooks. Jean Patou. Jeanne Lanvin. Flapper dresses. There's definitely of highlights during this decade.

It's also this interest in the 20s that fuels my excitement about the modern retelling of "The Great Gatsby."



I'm expecting to be transported back into the 1920s for a few hours. And with Baz Lurhmann leading this journey, it'll definitely be a visually spectacular one.
