The one at Topshop didn't have her size. The one at River Island wasn't the right style. Aldo didn't have the pair on their posters yet. And the other shoe stores didn't have brouges in their selection.
Just as I was about to go home, I passed by an obscure corner to take a short cut.
And voila!
A pair of apricot and red brouges. Oxford style. Nice workmanship. And super cheap!
Yes, this trip wasn't for naught after all.
