The lights on the fashion runway dimmed today as it lost one of its brightest stars.
Oscar dela Renta passed away last Monday, and not surprisingly, celebrities, fashion editors and fashion lovers were saddened by his passing. Aside from being a great designer, he was also a very nice, genteel man.
I saw snippets of him in "The September Issue," and he came across as a very calm, amiable person. No wonder a lot of people are saying that he'll be missed.
