Cool clock

Every time we have a 4As meeting at Nokal, this clock catches my eye.

Wonder where they bought this?

Watch it!

During my cleaning session during the Holidays, one of my discoveries was the fact that there were a lot of watches scattered around the room.

So, this weekend, I was able to go to the watch shop to get new batteries for them.

Now, I've got 6 watches to add to my rotation.

Watch it!

Saw this watch on-line and was automatically transported back to my childhood.

Wonder if this is something that a guy my age can still pull off.

(Spoler Alert: the answer is no.)

Gold standard

The last time I wore a gold watch was back in college.

If I remember correctly, the gold watch I wore was a hand-me-down from my Dad. It was a vintage looking watch, which some of my friends found odd. After all, this was the time of Swatch, and I was wearing a "daddy watch."

After college, my watch choices gravitated more towards silver and leather. I feel it's more nondescript and versatile. In fact, whenever Mom would ask me what kind of watch I wanted from Fossil, I'd always say: "anything silver."

When Biboy came to visit this month, he brought me this gold Fossil watch. Actually, when he asked me if I wanted anything from the US, I sent him a photo of a silver watch and a gold watch, and he eventually ended up buying this one.

At first, it took a bit of getting used to. It's been ages since I last saw something gold on my wrist. But my colleagues seem to like it a lot, judging on by how many "saan mo nabili 'yan?" questions I received.

Will this gold watch be my new standard?

Maybe not. But it'll definitely be in rotation.

Watch this space

It's been about 4 years since I last visited Fossil's website. The last time was when Biboy asked me what I wanted from the U.S., and I chose an oversized silver watch from Fossil.

After that, I haven't been checking out their website. Mainly because there wasn't any need to since I'm more than happy with my watch stash.

Today, out of curiosity, I visited their website again. And I must say, they've got a lot of beautiful new watch designs on-line.

It's time to look at watches again.

P.S. It's August already? It's August already!!!
