Decade and decades

For the 1st face-to-face Christmas Party in 2 years, we decided to go back and relive the different fashion decades.

Our theme was “Fashion Flashback,” and we were encouraged to dress up in clothes from 1920s to 1990s. And the ManCom was very diverse, dressing up in different decades. From the dapper 40s to the fab 50s, from the swinging 60s to the flashy 70s. to the colorful 80s to the grunge-y 90s. (That’s me!)

And the term “decade” had a special significance for me as I celebrated my 1st decade in Catalytx this year! Whoa! This is my longest stay in one agency, and i’m thrilled that I marked this milestone at Catalytx!

That’s a perfect 10!

Lauded!

On today's edition of "I'm definitely growing old!"

My niece, Kai-Kai, is not just graduating from University, she's graduating Summa Cum Laude!

Way to go, Kai! That's an accomplishment worth lauding.

They come in threes...

As I was about to write a post about some other notable discoveries from my SG trip, this little factoid about my blog popped on the screen.

Yup, my blog now has a total of 3,333 posts! That's a whole lotta 3s!

So let me add another one.

In celebration of the number 3, here's one of my favorite ditties from Britney Spears.

Three cheers!

Oh my how they've grown! Part Cinc!

She's the first ever niece in the Regalado-Morales clan, that's why she was aptly named "Princess." As the first girl from the 2nd generation, she was treated as such.

Now, our little princess has grown up into a young lady. And she just graduated from college today!

Amazing how fast time flies. (I think I'll never tire from saying these words. It's a sign of aging.)

Milestones and numbers

January 8 is a milestone date for two reasons. The first one is highly personal and celebratory, and the other one is coincidental.

Today, my parents are celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary! Woot! Woot!

My parents' on-going love story really is a source of inspiration. And at a time when people quit on marriages easily, it's wonderful to see a couple who really brings to life the vows they made during their wedding day.

The second one is about the number 2013.

When I opened my blog page a while ago, I saw that this particular post i'm typing now is my 2013th post! It's 2013 in 2013! How awesome is that!

This calls for a celebration! (Wait a minute, we already did. Well, my parents' wedding anniversary celebration, at least.)
