It's a post about this cat.

Don't you just love how comfortable he looks while lazily lying around?

That's a stretch

On a cool and rainy day like this, we all want to be this cat.

It's the perfect weather to just stretch out and take a nap.

Not on the street, though. But you get the idea.

FMM: Fresh Bread

It's been raining the past few days and the weather has been very lazy.

This type of weather calls for very chill, laid-back music. Something with an easy melody, soothing voices, and a vibe that makes you just want to curl up in bed with a blanket.

Plus, it's Friday today, so that song should be Friday Magic Madness worthy as well.

And I have the perfect song that makes the cut:

"Everything I own" is one of Bread's biggest hits in the 70s, along with my previous FMM song, "Make it with you." The lyrics "kept me warm, kept me warm" is what made me think of this song. Because the rainy weather is making the surroundings really cold.

Looks like I'm going to curl up in bed under a blanket and listen to this song until I fall asleep.

Now, it really feels like Friday.

Cat-urday

Saturday was spent busily and efficiently working inside the studio our shoot, but in reality, we'd rather be this cat that was unmindfully and comfortably sleeping outside the studio.

Mind you, he was just sleeping there for more than 6 hours! And it brought me great joy just watching him spend Saturday as lazily as possible.

Ah, to live like this comfy cat.

Beach bumming around

Being our first (and only) full day in Boracay, Mark, Pat, Madel and I wasted no time and did all these:

- Early morning walk to the Grotto
- Breakfast at Jonah's
- First Jonah's shake
- Morning swim
- Walked from Station 1 to Station 2
- Shopping for supplies at D' Mall
- Lunch at Paradise Grill
- Walked around D' Mall
- Afternoon chill out at Starbucks
- Afternoon swim
- Dinner at Maya
- Second Jonah's shake
- Pasalubong shopping at D' Mall

Packed, yes. But packed with fun, worthwhile things that were so relaxed, it felt like we were doing nothing.

Basically, it was a "busy doing nothing" day.

The perfect storm

With Typhoon Maring (which in Bicol means a crazy person) immobilizing most of Metro Manila, I  found myself doing something that I haven't done in a while. Stay at home for 2 days straight.

Yup, since some of the roads are impassable and most of the establishments are closed, I was just at home being lazy. All I did was sleep, eat, read, play with Javier, eat, sleep, sleep and eat. It's been ages since I last slept until 10am, only to sleep again at 1pm. Yes, the day was very lazy.

In fact, it was perfectly lazy.

FMM: Going North

The weather has been quite lazy the past few days. Not to mention schizophrenic.

One hour, it's bright and sunny, and it turns gray and overcast the next hour.

Looking outside, it's gray and glum, but also a bit crisp and cool. It's the perfect weather for a Friday Magic Madness song that's equally lazy.
