The more trailers they drop, the more appealing this film is.

It looks like "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will be a line-fest aside from being a fashion fest. That line by Emily Blunt has all the makings of a classic line:

"May the bridges I burn light my way."

If this is a preview of what's to come, you know it's going to be SO good!

The only line in this trailer, delivered by THE Meryl Streep, captures my sentiment about this upcoming film.

It took them too long to make "The Devil Wears Prada 2." Twenty years to be exact.

Hope it's worth the wait.

Mark and I are huge fans of the first instalment, and we're hoping that this doesn't fall into the "sequel trap."

I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about "Mamma Mia: Here we go again."

Frankly, the first time I saw the trailer, I found it a bit shady. But after hearing all the good things my friends have been saying about it, looks like I'm going to watch it and give it a chance.

Heck, I'd watch it for Julia Roberts alone.

My life as a Streep-er

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Meryl Streep's work. From her earlier movies (early for me, at least) such as "Death Becomes Her" and "Bridges of Madison County," to her more recent gems like "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Mamma Mia," it really seems like Meryl really can do no wrong.

This year, she received her 17th - yes, seven freakin' teenth - Oscar nomination. Who gets something like that?

Meryl Streep. That's who.

Unfortunately, the favorite to win Best Actress for the Oscars this year is Viola Davis. And yes, it would be nice if she wins. But last night, when Mark and I were talking, we were secretly hoping for an upset. We really wanted Meryl to win.

And guess what? It's an upset!



Her 3rd Oscar after 17 nominations. Way to go!

Looking forward to seeing you on the Oscar stage again next year.
