I’m Fine(ry)

Today is a fine day.

Thanks to these!

My Fine'ry loot has arrived. Thanks to Ate Lissa who bought it at Target, and Kuya Marv who brought it from TX!

The "Without a Trace" smells so good! It's a fine scent that I'm going to be using quite often.

Golden boy!

It's the year of golds for the Morales family!

First, it was our parents' golden wedding anniversary last January.

And today, the family's first born - Kuya Marv - celebrated his golden year!

Of course, we had to celebrate this golden day. We missed some family members, though, like Biboy and family, plus Raymond and the kids.

Happy Birthday Kuya Marv! Here's to more golden blessings ahead!

FMM: Marv-elous day

Most people don't know this, but Billy Crystal had his turn as a singer.

Yes, it's true!

Back in the 80s, he came out with this hilarious, cheeky and catchy novelty song called "You look marvelous." And it came with an MTV, too. Equally hilarious, I must say.

He must've written this himself because there were so many comic gems. My favorite is "Dancing to me is like standing, only faster." Funny!

Why did I remember this song? Because today is the birthday of Kuya Marv! Marv... Marvelous... get it? Harhar.

Happy Birthday Kuya Marv! Have a marvelous day!

And still more sibling revelry!

As Mom was about to celebrate her 7th decade in the world, we felt that it was an occasion that deserved a special celebration. And what's more special than a complete family to celebrate with you.

That's why Biboy surprised Mom by flying to Manila for a few days to personally greet her and celebrate this milestone.

It was a very, very short trip - 5 days to be exact. But it was 5 days well-spent. For 5 days, the Regalado-Morales siblings were complete, having dinner, hanging out, exchanging stories, and taking pictures - all together. Just like when we were in Morato. Just like when we were kids. The only difference was, we weren't kids anymore. The siblings are really all-grown up.

Despite that, moments like these will never grow old.
