Park Life

The weather was so nice, it was a great time to spend the day at the park.

And one of the best places to do this was Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

Since autumn is just around the bend, the leaves were starting to change colors. Greens were starting to transition to yellows and browns, and this gave the trees a lot more character.

One peculiar tree that Mark and I saw was this autumn cherry blossom tree. Seeing sakura in October was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Too bad we only had a little more than an hour to spend at the park. But we'll definitely back here to have a picnic the next time I'm in Tokyo!
