Hudson High

Because of yesterday's post on "Dreamgirls," I suddenly wondered what Jennifer Hudson is doing now.

Aside from "The Voice" which she judges, and her upcoming "Aretha" biopic, what else could she be doing.

Turns out, she's been busy with a lot of things, including this:

Whoa! JHud's rendition of one of my favourite songs from Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and later on, Diana Ross.

It's true that there ain't no mountain enough for this powerful voice.

FMM: Speaking of Vines

Yesterday's post inspired today's Friday Magic Madness song.

This is a classic Marvin Gaye ditty from the 60s, and I'm sure you've heard it before. From the Grapevine, probably.

Such a groovy way to spend Friday!

FMM: Merciful Marvin

Today's Friday Magic Madness song is inspired by my flight to Davao last Wednesday.

I was fortunate enough to be seated beside an amazing woman, and her stories, insights and kindness really made the 90-minute flight feel shorter.

The song that she inspired is actually a classic from one of my favorite artists, Marvin Gaye!

Thank goodness for Mercy.
