TV Times

So, this is the television appearance people have been telling me about.

In the course of the past few weeks, I've had friends contacting me and asking if I was the guy they say on GMA News TV. At first, I was perplexed. Then, when they told me that it was about me giving an award, I figured out that it must've been for the Hildegardes.

And it was!

Hey, at least I can say that I was on TV this year.

Hello Hildies!

Last week, we had our annual Hildegarde Awards in school. And I must say, it's the most thematic and organized Hildies yet.

And apparently, due to the Hildies, I was on TV. A couple of people contacted me to ask if I was the person they saw in the show "Investigative Documentaries."  (Yup, that was me.)

I'm glad that after a decade, the Hildies just gets keep on getting better and better.

En Garde!

It's that time of year again.

The Mass Comm faculty dressed up for the 9th Hildegarde Awards for Women in Media and Communication. This year, we awarded Ditsi Carolino for her work in Documentary and Film, as well as the late Susan Calo-Medina for her work in Travel Time.

I was particularly thrilled when Travel Time won because it was one of the shows that planted that seed of wanderlust in me. My love for travel was largely due to that show.

And it's only fitting that a day after the awards, I'm writing this blog entry as I travel to Roxas City.
