Oh how the mighty have fallen...

A few years ago, Red Ribbon had the chicken empanada. The scent would trail out of the store and it would call to me. And it was impossible to resist.

Then, they discontinued it. Boo to that!

Then, last month, they brought it back. Woohoo to that!

Today, I had to pass by Red Ribbon to try it.

And it was the biggest let down. Ever.

The crust was cold and hard, the filling was sparse and stingy, and it didn't even taste as good as I remembered it.

I guess that's that for the Red Ribbon empanada.
