I've seen the trailer for Steven Spielberg's new film, "Ready Player One." I've actually seen it several times. Actually, I've seen it A LOT of times.
Strangely, it feels like a compilation of 80s fantasy and sci-fi films. It's a little bit of Tron with a little bit of Labyrinth with a little bit of Transformers with a little bit of Never Ending Story and a little bit of Blade Runner. In short, it's a mish-mash of everything I love about 80s films.
(Oh, and it has Van Halen in the background. How 80s is that?)
