That's practical

After "The Devil Wears Prada 2," here's another film whose sequel comes more than 2 decades after the release of the 1st one.

"Practical Magic" came out in 1998, and yes, I watched that film in 1998. So, it's exciting to see the same characters and actors reprise their roles after 28 years.

Hope the sequel is as magical as the original.

Miss on a Monday

There are films that you can watch over and over again and still laugh at the same parts.

Lots of them, actually.

An example is the all-time fave of both Mark and myself - "The Devil Wears Prada."

Another is my all-time fave - "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion."

Another is the beauty-queen parody film - "Miss Congeniality."

Suddenly, I had the urge to watch one of my favourite scenes from this film today. I say "one of" because there were so many.

But this is one of the more underrated clips from that film:

"First step: Pizza. Second step: Flaming Batons!"

Still gets me. Everytime. 

Motion of the Ocean

Loved Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12. After all, Julia Robert's was in those movies.

Didn't catch - and even forgot about - Ocean's 13.  (Julia Robert's wasn't there. I think.)

And now, there's Ocean's 8.
