Familiar fashion

Last July, I wrote about a pair of sunshine colored gowns that I scored at SM Department Store. This particular one was very eye-catching in its simplicity, and I remember describing it as a gown with Lanvin-esque ruffles.

While scanning through fashion sites and reading about the best fashion of 2013, this particular gown from Gucci's SS2013 collection immediately caught my eye:

I knew that gown looked familiar. Then again, this isn't the first time that SM drew inspiration from Gucci. And I must say, they do their copies quite well.

Now I should look at their 2014 collections and try to guess what piece of clothing they'll copy next.
